The Tips On Building A House Information You Have Been Looking For Below

I need some advice on construction and earthquake proof model house.?
For a school project, including EHV to build a house earthquake-proof. some tips on building it? pls give me some links too!
Some of the design features earthquake-resistance of a typical house in California include: - a single plant. Taller structures are more inertia, the upper floors to be lagging behind the lower levels and increase tension in the building. - Wood frame construction. The wood is light (again, low inertia) and flexible (more stress is distributed throughout the structure instead of accumulating at critical points). - Resistance to shear. A rectangular frame under lateral load can be folded relatively easily compared to a triangular frame or solid object. Cross-bracing and shear walls provided strong resistance to failure of the wall potential. - The attachment to the foundation. Unless the house is closed can be moved from their foundations in an earthquake, causing extensive damage. See links for more information.
